That first one is a bit disturbing. I mean, the story of Héloïse and Abélard is romantic and tragic, but not in the least bit sexy (unless there's something everyone else knows that I missed in my history book).

I don't see Laetitia Casta on there, but maybe since she's officially "Marianne" at the moment, that counts. I think Isabelle Adjani is pretty hot; remember her as Reine Margot? Anyone else missing from the list?
